I purchased this storage box to use with makeup brushes. It's a pretty good design, but it arrived straight from the sawdust bin. It was covered in dust, which was hard to get out of the small parts, but it was at least smooth and the edges were finished. I considered painting it so the MDF would not react with water from my brushes, but the interior plastic tray at the bottom is designed to remain, so I cannot paint the interior. I think there is a market out there for this type of item for makeup brushes - but it needs to be made of plastic, with various sized trays to mix and match, light weight, etc. Whoever makes it will make a fortune. Right now people put their brushes in jars filled with beans or rice. Comment from Painter's Paradise - these boxes were made originally to meet the specific design of one of our customers. We added it to our line and have sold them as orders come in. WE try to ship as quickly as possible so we had our woodman ship them directly from his workshop - sawdust is always in ample supply at the wood shop.

I use this Box in my Home Painting Room to keep my Brushes upright and separated.
I had brushes in various containers. Now, I can have them in one location. I ordered the small holder and I can get over 100 brushes in it. I can divide it in areas where I put all of my filberts, rounds, liners, etc. I feel so organized now!
