Product Description: Glazing Medium, when mixed with acrylic or latex paint, creates a glaze that can be used for professional-looking faux finishes on walls, furniture, decorative accents, and other hard surfaces.
You can use a variety of application techniques with Glazing Medium, including rag rolling, sponging, antiquing, and marbleizing.

Marbleizing Techniques for Walls:

Paint your wall the color of your choice.
Make a 1:1 mixture of your wall paint and Glazing Medium, and separate the mixture into 2 containers.
Add a few drops of Burnt Umber to darken one and a few drops of Light Buttermilk to lighten the other.
Rag roll the darkened mixture onto the wall, and let dry.
Rag roll the lightened mixture onto the wall, and let dry.
Do not rag roll wet into wet.
Rag roll so that the effect is subtle.
Practice on a flat surface to get the desired effect.

Instructions:

For faux finishing, apply mixture to painted surface as for glazing. While mixture is still wet, use texturing material (crumpled plastic wrap, sponge, etc.) to remove some color and create designs.

 Helpful Hints:
Wash tools immediately after use.
For increased working time, apply a thin film of water to the surface prior to applying the colored glaze mixture
